While we define real estate quite broadly and are comfortable investing across product types in Switzerland, we usually tend to focus on industrial and commercial assets in value-add/opportunistic situations given the returns we target. Our active management approach involves selecting real estate diligently, developing and deploying strategies designed to increase fundamental values. We selectively work with operating partners and collaborate closely with top-tier banks to arrange financing structures tailored to each transaction.

For specific opportunities, C4 forms club deals and acts as a general partner on a deal-by-deal basis.

Our real estate developments around Lisbon area are exclusively managed by Vision Supra Partners and Relevant Road, acting as operating partners with in-depth regional, operational and development expertise. In line with their strategy, our objective is to develop residential products that offer excellent living standards to end-customers. By acting as operating partners, they are responsable for sourcing compelling opportunities, managing construction planning activities, collaborating with local banks to arrange senior financing solutions, and overseeing marketing efforts to sell final products.

C4 selectively structures vehicles and arranges transactions with external capital sources, that invest on a deal-by-deal basis in preferred equity, mezzanine or others financing products.

We seek investment opportunities in small cap corporates based in Switzerland where we believe we can play a meaningful role in supporting management, and bring value to companies throughout their next phase of development. While we remain sector agnostic, we focus on opportunities where downside risk can be swiftly mitigated and where clear, actionable levers exist to support management’s growth strategy.

C4 in concert with its investment partners, have shown that they are able to find comfort in entering difficult situations and to deliver value not only to shareholders, but to all stakeholders involved. Our expertise lies in our in-depth understanding of the Swiss market dynamics, as well as the structuring and turnaround of transactions.

Leveraging upon these tools allows us to be flexible in our approach and invest across the bottom of the capital structure, from subordinated loans to levered equity investments depending on the situation and quality of the asset.
